Lapcevich Battles to Double Podium Weekend at Ace Speedway
Treyten Lapcevich continued his strong 2026 campaign this past weekend at Ace Speedway, earning podium finishes across both CARS Tour divisions while further establishing himself as one of the series' top contenders.

Competing in both the Pro Late Model and Late Model Stock features, Lapcevich was a front-runner from the drop of the green flag.
In the Pro Late Model race, Lapcevich ran at the front of the field throughout the event before a late-race caution reshuffled the order, ultimately resulting in a third-place finish.
The Late Model Stock feature that followed showcased one of Lapcevich's strongest drives of the season. Driving the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship No. 77, the Canadian racer worked his way to the front and began rapidly closing in on race leader Kaden Honeycutt through traffic during the closing stages of the race, applying significant pressure for the lead before a timely competition caution reset the field.
Faced with a difficult lane choice for the final restart, Lapcevich battled to a runner-up finish after running in contention for the victory throughout.
"I don't think I've ever driven harder in my life. It was so close, we were trading lap times at the end, and it's one that got away. But I'm really proud of the speed we showed in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship No. 77 this weekend. The improvements we made were encouraging, and I'm confident our time in victory lane will come," said Lapcevich.
The double podium weekend keeps Lapcevich firmly inside the top five in points across both the Pro Late Model and Late Model Stock standings, as the CARS Tour season continues to build momentum.
